Le Service médiation culturelle invite Ben Brotherton, artiste anglais installé dans le Gers, pour une visite guidée bilingue (français / anglais) de l’exposition L’école anglaise… dans la collection Simonow. Ben Brotherton proposera au public un parcours au sein du dortoir des moines à travers une sélection d’œuvres dont il commentera le style tout en les situant dans leur contexte historique. Venez découvrir le regard d’un peintre anglais sur les œuvres anglaises de la collection Simonow ! Cette visite sera suivie d’un tea time…

British born painter, Ben Brotherton, will be giving a guided tour of the exhibition “l’école anglais” from the Simonov collection at the Abbeye de Flaran. He’ll bring to life the paintings in the collection; talking not only from his viewpoint as a professional artist, but also describing the historical importance of the artists and their work.
